excuses

My housemate and I are yet to dump our personal trainer.
He keeps making excuses and not showing up!
One day he’ll sleep through his alarm.
The next he’ll have a chest infection.
His wisdom teeth have been known to act up.
Occasionally there’s been car trouble.
Today he had an “urgent erin”. (I’m not even sure what that is.)
I guess we feel that we’ve been together long enough that we need to dump him in person – not over the phone. If he ever gives us the chance!!

    Excuse #47 from the book of excuses: urgent errand, err aerin.

    Sigh. The nerve of some people, inadvertently avoiding you to avoid being dumped. I wonder if he *knows*?
